The Porsche 911 was developed as a more powerful, larger and more comfortable replacement for the Porsche 356. The new car made its public debut in1963 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The actual production run started with the 1965 model in 1964. The 1965 and 1966 model cars were very similar. This White Ivory car is one of the first 1966 model cars and produced in September 1965.

This car is very original, fully restored early Porsche 911. The car was first delivered to a US customer in Switzerland and then imported to US in late 1966. It has been then in US until 2013, where it had one owner from 1975 to 2012. The car was bare metal restored to the highest standard by Carrera Classic in 2016 – 2019. The well picture documented, over two thousand hour restoration work has been done very much respecting the originality of the car and the special features of these early cars.

This car has its original 2,0 liter boxer engine (901/01) with Solex carburators producing 130 hp. The car has the original gearbox and rare reinforced 904 Nadella drive shafts. The typical features of the first 911´s were wooden dashboard, wooden steering wheel, 5 green numbered instruments, 911 label on the dashboard and in the engine lid, 4,5 *15 steel wheels, 4 screw horn grills, small Durant mirror, Blaupunkt radio and Hella 128 fog lamps. This car has also working Webasto heater and retrofitted 11kg steel weights in the front bumpers to improve the handling of the car.
