About us

“Closest to out heart are the 1960’s and early 1970’s classic 911’s.”

Carrera Classic* is a family owned collection and restoration company specializing in classic, top of the range and historically important air-cooled Porsches. We are based close to Vaasa in western part of Finland. Our own collection has represented a good cross section of the top of the range Porsches over the last 65 years. Our cars have ranged from 1955 356 Pre-A and 356 Carrera 2 with the legendary “Fuhrmann” engine to the future classics as the 997 GT3 RS with the famous 4 liter “Mezger” race engine

We have experience with all air cooled Porsches from 356 to 911, from G model Carreras to 964 and 993 models. Closest to our heart have been the 1960´s and early 70´s first generation classic 911´s. But today we are doing more and more work also with the later air-cooled models. We are collectors and Porsche restorers. We build cars for ourselves and for our customers. We are driving and racing them, and we are also selling them. Today our own professional staff is also restoring and servicing customer cars in addition to our own cars in our own modern facilities.

Do you share our passion?

We started our activity officially in 2012 and we operate as a commercial collection. We have invested in cars with complete and interesting history and added value by restoring them into their original specification. When the car is fully restored and it meets our own high standards, it will gradually be ready to re-enter the market. This way our collection is continuously rotating and renewed.

We renovate, repair, maintain and test the cars in our own modern facilities. We have a network of skilled Finnish and international partners who work with us in our projects.

Classic Porsches are fabulous cars and they are made to be driven. Even if they have become collector’s items they still need to be driven regularly to keep them alive. We are lucky to operate in an area where we can choose to drive them either alongside idyllic countryside roads, normal highways, or on a full-size racing track.
