Aircooled Porsche Engine Rebuilds

Carrera Classic and Pukema Engineering from Oulunsalo, Finland have co-operated several years in developing and building aircooled Porsche engines for Carrera Classićs late 60’s and early 70’s cars and now later also for customer cars. We are now working in even more closer relationship and Carrera Classic is nowselling services of Pukema Engineering for the aircooled Porsche owners.

We are co-operating together with our international partners in engine and gearbox rebuilding. Carrera Classic 911 racing engines have been build byManfred Rugen Motortechnik and Pukema Engineering is maintaining and rebuilding them in close co-operation with Rugen. We are also working together with Sebastian Giannone of Turmgarage Engineering in Germany with early911 and 356/912 engines and components. Together we have wide international network of suppliers for any engine and gearbox component for aircooled Porsches.

Pukema Engineering is a company of Jukka Pekka Pukema and it has longexperiencein buildingracingenginesin particularfor rallycars. JP has inparticular strong reputation for buildingworldclassMitsubishi rally engines.Now his maininterestare aircooled Porsche engines.JP has a complete engineworkshoptoolingtobe ablehandleany aircooled engines and he does most ofthe engine machining workby himself. In the fall 2019there will bealso on sitedynotest capabilitieswhich will give us completely new capabilities in adjustingand tuning the engines.

Jointly we are able to handle any rebuild of356, 912, 914, 911, 930, 964 or 993 engine or 901, 911, 915 or G50 gearbox rebuilds.We have been building our classic 911 engines exactly to the original specification, but we have also experience for more high performance conversions as e.g. 3,2 conversions withPMO carburators and more aggressive camshafts.If your need any help you’re your project, please contact Jussi at Carrera Classic
