– Very original, fully restored and fully matching numbers early Porsche 911. This car was first delivered to a US customer in Switzerland in 1965 and then imported to US in late 1966. It has been then in US until 2013, where it had one owner from 1975 to 2012.
– The car was bare metal restored to the highest standard by Carrera Classic in 2016 – 2019. The well picture documented, over two thousand hour restoration work has been done very much respecting the originality of the car and the special features of these early cars. Even the original Webasto petrol heater is now in fully working condition.
– This White Ivory car is one of the first 1966 model cars and produced in September 1965. The chassi number is 3021xx. The car still retains its original matching numbers engine with Solex carburators and its original 902/1 type 5- speed gearbox. The car has reinforced 904 Nadella drive
– The car is in concours condition, Classic data grade 1, which is confirmed by Classic Data report in spring 2019. The car is registered to the Finnish Veteran Vehicle Register.
The Porsche 911 was developed as a more powerful, larger, more comfortable replacement for the Porsche 356. The new car made its public debut in1963 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The actual production run started in with the 1965 model which was build in 1964/1965.
The new 911 had a new 6 cylinder 2,0 liter boxer engine (901/01) with Solex carburators producing 130hp. The typical features of 1965 0-Programme 911´s were wooden dashboard, 5 green numbered instruments, 911 label on the dashboard and in the engine lid, 4,5 *15 steel wheels, 4 screw horn grills, small Durant mirror, Blaupunkt radio and Hella 128 fog lamps.
